Making DuckDuckGo the Default Search Engine (Recommended)

1. Click here to add us as a search engine
2. Make sure to check Make this my default search provider
3. Click Add

Making DuckDuckGo Your Homepage

1. Click the arrow to the right of the home icon
2. Click Add or change home page...
3. Select Use this webpage as your only home page (or one of the other options if you prefer)
4. Click Yes

Changing to a Different Default Search Engine

1. Click the cog icon in the top toolbar
2. Select Manage add-ons
3. Click Search Providers
4. Find your desired new default search engine in the displayed list and right click it.
5. Select Set as default

Removing DuckDuckGo as the Homepage

1. Click the cog icon in the top toolbar
2. Select Internet options
3. In the text box under Home page, type your desired new homepage(s))
